Midwest Shop Supply was founded by Joel S. Diener in 2019. This was a result of a lifelong interest in machining due to an extensive family lineage in the industry dating back to George William Diener, who began Geo. W. Diener Manufacturing Co. in Chicago in 1899 at the age of 23.  

Now today at Midwest Shop Supply, we specialize in precision machining and custom fabrication, with a particular focus on bench vise replacement parts. While our expertise lies in crafting high-quality vise components, our capabilities extend to a wide range of custom machining projects across various industries.
